IFIC offers its member societies the opportunity to know, to share and to learn from each other. By being part of a network, they share experiences and publications and collaborate in improving infection prevention and control through the knowledge of practices and programs coming from many different countries. Membership also provides an opportunity to influence practice, by bouncing ideas, projects and concepts off each other as well as provide support to others.
All member societies have special access to the “membership only” section of the IFIC web site. This gives access to additional benefits, such as highlighted presentations from IFIC Conferences, Basic Concepts in IPC materials, special issues and /or articles of the Journal and the Resources in Infection Control information, etc.
Member societies have the possibility to nominate representatives to the Board or to serve on committees, as well as to host high-profile international conferences or symposia in collaboration with IFIC. Furthermore, IFIC has a strong working relationship with the World Health Organization and other entities that are globally active in IPC and this relationship extends to its member societies.
Societies joining under our full and affiliate categories, and individual members have special access to the "membership only” section of the IFIC web site. This gives access to additional benefits, such as highlighted presentations from IFIC conferences, special issues and /or articles of the Journal, the Resources in Infection Control book, etc.
