Dr Kathryn Suh and Prof. Neville Calleja

Dr. Suh is the Medical Director of Infection Prevention and Control at The Ottawa Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa and a staff physician in Infectious Diseases at The Ottawa Hospital. Dr. Suh is an ex-officio member of the Board of IFIC and is the Editor of the International Journal of Infection Control. Dr. Suh will provide and overview of available COVID-19 vaccines and what we know about them so far, with a focus on efficacy, effectiveness, and important adverse effects.

Prof Neville Calleja is the Director for Health Information and Statistics within the Ministry for Health, serving as Acting Chief Medical Officer. He is also active at the European level in the field of Health Information for both the European Commission and WHO (Europe), conducting health information system assessments in the region. He is part of the Maltese COVID-19 response team, seeking out infodemic posts on Maltese social media, and engaging with the media to push the right messages. He is assisting WHO since summer 2020 in drafting its Infodemic Management Strategy
